Social Lunch Site Host

SOCIAL LUNCH SITE HOST - PT 10-15 hours per week  Mon-Fri

Pay Range- $14.00-$20.16 (dependent on previous experience)

Host congregate site and provide programs and activities to engage participants. Work with local community to build client participation. Set up and service of meals and appropriate thorough clean up of host dining center area is required. Record and complete necessary reports and turn in contributions as required. Must understand and communicate the mission of the Licking County Aging Program's Senior Nutrition Program and abide by established guidelines. Other duties as required.

Requirements

Prefer high school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to keep accurate records. Previous experience in food service as well as experience in working with the elderly helpful. Must follow state and local health department guidelines which apply to the job. Must be in good physical health, good personal hygiene and able to lift portable food carriers, up to 50 pounds. Attend staff trainings as scheduled. Valid Ohio Driver’s License is required. Employees are required to carry at least the State minimum (for Ohio) auto insurance coverage and be able to provide proof upon request. Failure to provide proof of, or maintain a valid Driver’s License or Vehicle insurance, may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Will be trained in CPR/First Aid as needed.

May require standing for more than one hour, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, reaching above your head, good range of motion in neck, good manual dexterity and coordination, stair climbing, and climbing in and out of a vehicle. Exposure to adverse climatic conditions both inside homes and in the outdoor environment is probable.
