Parts Express is looking for a dynamic, strategic, and creative Social Media & Community Engagement Lead to lead the ideation, execution, and performance of organic and paid social media efforts across all divisions. This hands-on role requires a strong understanding of social content strategy, creative execution, community engagement, analytics, and influencer/affiliate program management.
The ideal candidate has experience managing social media for medium-to-large sized brands, is fluent across platforms (including Facebook, TikTok LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest) and thrives in a fast-paced environment where collaboration, organization and ownership are key.

Own and manage all organic social media channels for Parts Express, including house brands, from content strategy and calendar development to daily execution and community engagement.
Develop and maintain monthly content calendars aligned with brand priorities, product launches, seasonal promotions, and campaigns.
Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and visuals with overall brand goals.
Create or source compelling content, including images, short-form videos, Reels, TikToks, Stories, carousels, and more.
Monitor and respond to audience engagement, managing the day-to-day conversations on each platform.
Lead influencer and affiliate marketing programs, including outreach, relationship management, contracts, campaign coordination, and performance tracking.
Engage in relevant online communities and forums to build credibility, brand awareness, and customer trust. This includes managing and growing our own community, TechTalk.
Track, measure, and report on KPI's including engagement, reach, follower growth, traffic, conversions, and ROI. Deliver regular performance insights and recommendations.
Stay current on social trends, algorithm changes, and platform best practices to keep brands relevant and competitive.
Partner with customer service and product teams to identify opportunities for brand engagement and issue resolution.
Develop and maintain brand tone and messaging guidelines across social media platforms.
Occasionally support paid social media marketing efforts with creative input and collaboration with media teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
This is a hybrid position with a combination of remote and on-site work based at our Springboro, Ohio office. The final schedule is subject to the discretion of the manager.
May occasionally work outside of typical business hours to monitor or respond to time-sensitive content or platform activity, including during product launches or live social engagement.
Direct Reports
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of proven experience managing social media for a consumer-facing brand, preferably in the eCommerce or consumer electronics space. Examples of previous work are mandatory.
Demonstrated experience growing brand presences across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and other emerging platforms.
Experience managing influencer/affiliate programs. Experience with Impact platform a plus.
Exceptional writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
Experience creating or collaborating on visually compelling content for social media, including short-form video, graphics, and motion resets. Proficiency with native platform editing tools (e.g. Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and creative software (e.g. Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with creative, product development, and marketing teams.
Self-starter with excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
Passion for audio, technology, DIY, or enthusiast communities a plus.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically 6-8 hours per day.
Ability to effectively communicate via video conferencing, email, chat, and collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Slack, etc.).
Visual acuity for reviewing digital content, imagery, and performance metrics on various screen sizes.
Occasionally will need to lift or move items under 15 lbs. (e.g. promotional materials, video equipment, product samples for content creation, etc.).
