Job Description - Social Media & Community Relations Coordinator

Position Overview


The Social Media & Community Relations Coordinator will lead our dealership’s digital presence and community outreach efforts. This role is perfect for someone who is fun, extroverted, high-energy, and creative, with a proven track record of growing social media followings across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.


You’ll be the face of Southern 441 Toyota online and in the community—working with employees, customers, local businesses, nonprofit organizations, government officials, and law enforcement leadership to build strong partnerships and elevate our brand’s visibility.


Key Responsibilities


Social Media & Content Creation




  • Develop, manage, and execute a social media strategy that drives engagement, builds followers, and creates viral moments.




  • Create fun, attention-grabbing video content that aligns with current trends and resonates with our audience.




  • Shoot, edit, and produce high-quality videos and photos showcasing our dealership, employees, customers, and community events.




  • Actively monitor social trends and jump on trending content opportunities to maximize reach and visibility.




  • Analyze social media performance metrics and provide reporting to demonstrate growth and ROI.




Community Relations & Outreach




  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local business owners, nonprofit organizations, charity groups, and government agencies (including local police and sheriff’s offices).




  • Develop collaborative partnerships with community leaders to create mutually beneficial campaigns and events.




  • Coordinate and represent Southern 441 Toyota at local events, sponsorships, charity drives, and community outreach initiatives.




  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring the dealership’s image is positive, professional, and approachable at all times.




Internal Collaboration




  • Work closely with employees and leadership to feature fun, engaging, behind-the-scenes dealership content.




  • Partner with sales, service, and BDC teams to highlight offers, promotions, and customer stories in creative and exciting ways.




Requirements




  • MUST currently live in the West Palm Beach / Royal Palm Beach area, or outlying communities within 15 miles.




  • Proven experience growing and managing social media accounts for a business or organization. Portfolio or proof of social growth required (before/after metrics preferred).




  • Videography & video editing skills required — must be comfortable both behind and in front of the camera.




  • Extroverted, fun, and highly engaging personality — you need to thrive on interaction and relationship-building.




  • Experience in community outreach, relationship development, or PR.




  • Strong communication and storytelling skills.




  • Familiarity with social media trends, analytics tools, and paid ad strategies.




  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not necessary if you are a perfect fit.




  • Own video equipment a plus.




  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
