Social Media & Marketing Assistant - SISD Job Posting

The Social Media & Marketing Assistant supports the organization's public communications, advertising, and community outreach. This position is designed for someone who enjoys writing, photography, video, graphic design, social media, or finding creative ways to communicate with people.

Typical duties may include:

• Brainstorming ideas for social media posts


• Taking photos and short videos


• Drafting captions and promotional content


• Creating simple graphics


• Assisting with marketing campaigns


• Helping update website content


• Gathering information from other departments


• Helping promote events, services, or special programs


• Reviewing content for spelling and accuracy


• Responding professionally to feedback and suggested changes

Qualifications: Applicants should be creative, dependable, able to communicate clearly, and willing to receive feedback on their work. Familiarity with social media is helpful, but professional marketing experience is not required.

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 10–20 hours per week, with occasional weekend or event work.

Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour.
