Job Description - Social Media & Partnerships Coordinator


The Great Escape Room is a leading live-action entertainment brand with escape room experiences across the United States. We specialize in immersive, story-driven games that bring people together, from friends and families to corporate teams looking for unforgettable team-building experiences.

We’re growing quickly and looking for a creative, outgoing, and organized Social Media & Partnerships Coordinator to help expand our digital presence, build influencer relationships, and drive corporate group bookings through smart outreach and collaboration.

About the Role

This role sits at the intersection of social media, influencer marketing, and business outreach. You’ll be responsible for helping create and manage social content while actively building relationships with local influencers, creators, and corporate partners to bring new audiences into our escape rooms.

You’ll work closely with the Director of Digital Marketing to execute campaigns, grow brand awareness, and support revenue-driving initiatives, especially around corporate team building and group events.
 

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Support

  • Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
  • Help produce and organize social assets (graphics, short-form videos, captions, hashtags)
  • Support location-specific posts, promotions, and openings
  • Monitor comments, DMs, and engagement, flagging opportunities or trends

Influencer & Creator Outreach

  • Research and identify relevant local influencers, creators, and “things to do” accounts in each market
  • Pitch influencer partnerships, hosted experiences, and collaborations
  • Coordinate influencer visits, track deliverables, and manage follow-ups
  • Maintain an influencer database and outreach tracker
  • Measure performance and report on influencer campaign outcomes

Corporate & Community Outreach

  • Proactively reach out to local businesses, HR teams, event planners, and corporate groups to promote escape rooms as team-building experiences
  • Support lead generation efforts for corporate bookings and private events
  • Help create outreach templates, pitch decks, and follow-up messaging
  • Build relationships with local organizations, coworking spaces, and community groups
  • Research local events (ex. Arts Beats & Eats in Royal Oaks MI, etc.) to coordinate our involvement

Campaign Support & Reporting

  • Assist with promotional campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and new location launches
  • Track outreach performance, responses, and bookings influenced by partnerships
  • Share insights and ideas to improve future campaigns


What We’re Looking For

  • 1-3 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, outreach, or partnerships
  • Strong written communication skills; confident pitching via email and DMs
  • Comfortable being proactive, organized, and persistent with outreach
  • Social-media-savvy with a strong understanding of trends and platform best practices
  • Experience working with influencers or creators is a big plus
  • Interest in events, experiences, and entertainment brands
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-through


Bonus Points

  • Experience with multi-location or franchise brands
  • Familiarity with basic design tools (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.)
  • Experience using social scheduling or CRM tools
  • Background in event marketing, hospitality, or experiential marketing

Work Environment: This is a hybrid role designed to balance flexibility with team collaboration. We work remotely four days a week, with Mondays required in-office at our Orlando location for team syncs and planning.
