Social Media Manager
PURPOSE: The Social Media Manager serves to expand the digital reach, engagement, and resource distribution by stewarding all online content, platforms, and partnerships. This role ensures the appropriate messages are communicated with excellence across all digital channels, supporting both ministry and marketplace initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY 1: DIGITAL CONTENT STRATEGY & ENGAGEMENT
DUTY STATEMENT 1: Manage, create, and post consistent content for all platforms across the web and relevant social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
DUTY STATEMENT 2: Optimize digital content for engagement, including thumbnails, captions, and hashtags—to maximize reach and connection with the audience.
DUTY STATEMENT 3: Actively engage the online community through comments, DMs, and other touchpoints to deepen connection, foster loyalty, and build brand trust.
DUTY STATEMENT 4: Track digital performance analytics, monitor social media trends, and assess successful content creators to refine content strategy and adapt to evolving audience behavior.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY 2: MARKETING & BRAND DEVELOPMENT
DUTY STATEMENT 1: Plan and execute targeted promotions for physical and digital products, including books, courses, masterclasses, and online tools—leveraging organic and paid strategies (e.g., digital ads, influencer collaboration, media placement).
DUTY STATEMENT 2: Oversee branding efforts, including photoshoots, promotional media, and social media consistency, ensuring all digital presence reflects excellence and heart.
DUTY STATEMENT 3: Manage brand partnerships and collaborative efforts such as influencer relationships, conference booths, and strategic alignments with other Christian media entities.
DUTY STATEMENT 4: Conduct ongoing market research to understand the needs and desires of the target audience, tailoring campaigns and content to meet those needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY 3: RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT & REPURPOSING
DUTY STATEMENT 1: Assist, as needed, in developing and refining ministry and marketplace tools—such as sermon guides, marriage resources, and masterclass materials—supporting both teaching and outreach initiatives.
DUTY STATEMENT 2: Repurpose high-performing content into new digital formats to expand reach across platforms and serve diverse audience preferences (e.g., reels, quote slides, PDFs, emails).
KEY RESPONSIBILITY 4: PERSONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
DUTY STATEMENT 1: Resource– read spiritual and leadership books/material.
DUTY STATEMENT 2: Mentorship – reach out and learn from others in your field.
DUTY STATEMENT 3: Craft – carve out time to develop and stretch yourself creatively.
**Manage & Steward Department Budget – turning in receipts in a timely manner, keeping record of expenses and attending to the financial needs of the team.

(FT) 9:00AM – 5:00PM Monday–Thursday
7:00AM – 3:00PM Sunday
