This role supports these brands, related HITE events, and the personal brands of our leaders.

About the role

We’re looking for a creative, organized social media professional with some practical experience and a strong desire to grow. You should already be comfortable creating content and managing social accounts, with guidance from our marketing leadership.

You’ll help turn ideas, conversations, leadership insights, and event moments into content that builds relationships with our audiences. This is an early-career role focused on content creation, publishing, and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain content calendars for assigned personal and company brands.


• Write captions and adapt messaging to each brand’s voice and audience.


• Create simple graphics, carousels, stories, and short-form videos.


• Capture photos and video during local activities, interviews, and selected events.


• Repurpose talks, interviews, podcasts, and event footage into social content.


• Schedule and publish approved content across priority platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.


• Monitor comments and messages, respond using brand guidelines, and route inquiries to the appropriate team.


• Support event promotions, speaker announcements, testimonials, and recap content.


• Track basic performance metrics and suggest improvements based on results.


• Keep content assets organized and manage feedback, approvals, and deadlines.

What we’re looking for

• Approximately 1–2 years of relevant social media or content creation experience. Meaningful freelance work, internships, and hands-on brand projects count.


• A portfolio showing captions, graphics, videos, or accounts you have helped manage.


• Strong writing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.


• Basic proficiency with Canva and CapCut or similar tools.


• Comfort filming with a smartphone and editing short-form video.


• Familiarity with social scheduling tools and basic platform analytics.


• The ability to stay organized across multiple brands and deadlines.


• Initiative, attention to detail, and openness to feedback.

Helpful extras

• Experience supporting a founder’s or executive’s personal brand.


• Familiarity with business, leadership, or event content.


• Experience capturing live events or interviewing people on camera.
