Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of
our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Social Media Marketer to work in Nairobi, Kenya

DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Assist in creating, curating, and
scheduling content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook,
LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter).

·         Monitor social media channels for
engagement, trends, and brand mentions.

·         Respond to comments, messages, and
community interactions in a timely and professional manner.

·         Support the development and execution
of social media campaigns and promotions.

·         Assist in analyzing performance
metrics (engagement, reach, growth, etc.) and creating reports.

·         Research industry trends, competitor
activity, and emerging platforms.

·         Collaborate with the marketing team on
content planning and brand strategy.

·         Help with administrative tasks and
other marketing initiatives as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Marketing,
Communications, Media, or a related field.

·         At least one year of experience in
social media marketing and content creation.

·         Strong understanding of major social
media platforms and their best practices.

·         Basic knowledge of content creation
tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Spark, CapCut).

·         Good written and verbal communication
skills.

·         Creative mindset with attention to
detail.

·         Ability to work both independently and
collaboratively.

·         Familiarity with social media
analytics tools is a plus (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer)
