Social Media Marketing Specialist (LATAM) – Limassol, Cyprus
A fast-growing iGaming and sports entertainment brand in Limassol is looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist to support a project focused on Latin American markets. You will manage social media activity, create engaging content and grow the project's online presence across multiple platforms, within the limits of a regulated industry. Only candidates already based in Cyprus with no visa sponsorship requirement will be considered. A portfolio demonstrating your work is requested. Forex experience is not required.
What you'll do:
- Plan and manage the social media calendar across Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Telegram, WhatsApp and other relevant channels
- Create and adapt content for each platform, including short-form video, memes, match previews, live reactions, odds highlights and promotional posts
- Manage community channels by replying to comments and direct messages, moderating discussions and escalating support issues to the appropriate team
- Coordinate giveaways, contests and ambassador or influencer collaborations with the Marketing and Affiliate teams
- Track and report on reach, engagement, follower growth, click-through rates and contribution to conversions
- Test new formats, hooks and posting times, using performance insights to improve results
- Monitor competitors and platform trends in the iGaming industry
- Cover live sporting events on a rotating evening and weekend basis
- Drive organic growth across LATAM markets through content, community management and influencer collaborations
What you need:
- At least 2 years' experience in social media marketing, preferably in iGaming, sports media or another regulated industry
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Hands-on short-form video editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar tools
- Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social or Hootsuite
- Understanding of how Meta, TikTok, X and Google restrict iGaming advertising, with the creativity to build organic reach within those limits
- Strong feel for meme culture and a sharp sense of humour
- Strong attention to detail, speed and accuracy, able to meet tight deadlines during live events
- Available for evening and weekend coverage on a rotating basis during live sporting events
- Already based in Cyprus and able to work on-site in Limassol – no visa sponsorship, no relocation
- Portfolio or examples of social accounts you have managed (link requested)
Nice to have:
- Spanish and/or Portuguese, strongly preferred for Latin American markets
- Experience with influencer and streamer partnerships
- Basic design skills using Figma, Photoshop or Canva
- Familiarity with affiliate marketing and UTM tracking
- Knowledge of betting markets, odds and casino products
