Social Media Specialist

 Are you all in on a brand, based on their social media presence? We are looking for someone who wants more involvement in creating our social media brand strategy and promoting community engagement. In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive social media and video strategy. There is a catch, though: Blue Eagle members expect our multimedia posts to be engaging and timely across all channels, meaning you must be organized too! Because our social media followers appreciate an ongoing dialogue, you will also need to actively monitor these channels to interact with them and resolve issues. To top it all off, we will need you to analyze performance metrics and successfully demonstrate a positive return on your strategy to the Credit Union. 

 **This is an in-person position located at our Oak Grove office**

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

• Associates degree with a major or specialized concentration in Marketing, or equivalent work experience
• Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, social media platforms, Microsoft Office and various other computer and design applications
• Job related experience creating content and posting content on social media channels, minimum 2 years
• Comfort level with embracing leading edge technology and solid understanding of computer and network terminology
• Exceptional communication, presentation and editing skills

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Deep understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.)
• Strong copywriting and editing skills tailored for social media
• Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
• Creative mindset with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to analyze data and translate metrics into actionable insights
• Excellent time management and project management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
• Basic understanding of marketing compliance and regulations
• Desire and willingness to stay current with social media trends and best practices
• Computer literacy (Google Applications and Microsoft Office)
