Social Media Strategist - Bilingual Required (English/Spanish)

MyBambu, a rapidly growing fintech company dedicated to providing innovative financial services, is seeking an experienced and passionate Social Media Strategist. This role will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing our social media strategy across various platforms to increase brand awareness, enhance marketing efforts, and drive user engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with MyBambu’s business goals.


• Manage daily operations of social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).


• Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) to ensure consistency with brand guidelines.


• Analyze and report on social media performance metrics, adjusting strategies based on insights and feedback.


• Engage with followers, respond to queries timely, and foster community building.


• Stay informed of industry trends and emerging social media platforms to recommend strategic adjustments.


• Coordinate with marketing, PR, customer service, and product teams to ensure alignment across campaigns and messaging.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.


• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.


• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in social media management and strategy, ideally within the fintech or financial services sector.


• Excellent understanding of social media platforms, trends, analytics tools, and advertising mechanisms.


• Strong content creation and curation skills, including visual storytelling.


• Proficient in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).


• Exceptional communication, writing, and editing abilities.


• Ability to analyze data and leverage insights for strategic planning.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with fintech or digital financial services.


• Graphic design, video editing, or multimedia production experience.


• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial communications.

Physical Requirements:  

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.   

• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
