Hays Electrical Services is seeking a Social Media Talent Sourcer to support ongoing hiring efforts by actively sourcing electricians through social media platforms. This is not a traditional marketing role and does not involve conducting interviews.
This position is focused on identifying electricians online, initiating conversations, building relationships, and funneling qualified candidates into the hiring pipeline through consistent social outreach.
Manage and maintain social media presence related to recruiting
Post consistently and engage daily through comments, messages, and groups
Identify and source electricians through social media platforms
Initiate direct outreach and follow up with potential candidates
Build relationships with skilled trades professionals
Pre-qualify interest and route candidates into the hiring pipeline
Coordinate with internal teams to schedule candidate interviews
Track outreach activity and maintain organized sourcing records
Facebook (pages, groups, and direct messages)
Trade-related and local social media groups
Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and social group engagement
Comfortable initiating conversations and maintaining follow-up communication
Sales- or recruiting-oriented mindset
Strong written communication skills
Organized, persistent, and detail-oriented
Ability to manage multiple conversations and candidates simultaneously
Experience sourcing or recruiting skilled trades talent
Familiarity with construction or electrical industry workforce
Prior recruiting, sales, or talent sourcing experience
Consistent flow of electricians entering the hiring pipeline
Active daily engagement on social platforms
Timely follow-up with interested candidates
Electricians successfully scheduled for interviews through social outreach
Established, growing electrical contractor with ongoing hiring needs
Direct impact on field workforce growth
Hands-on role supporting real-world recruiting efforts
