Job Purpose
The Social Studies Teacher is dedicated to fostering students' understanding of social, cultural, political, and economic concepts while promoting critical thinking and global awareness. Working Conditions
This role is performed in a classroom environment with occasional opportunities for off-site educational activities or field trips related to Social Studies curriculum. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment. The employee may be required to deal with students with behavioral risks.
Physical Requirements
The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; and significant fine finger dexterity.
