Job Summary

The Social Worker helps patients and families adjust to illness and life-style changes due to illness through counseling and coordination of community, social and hospital services, and intervenes appropriately in cases of suspected domestic violence or abuse.

Requirements

Education

Masters of Social Work Degree : Accredited School of Social Work (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Experience 2 Years experience as a Social Worker in a ambulatory or community setting. (Required)
2 Years experience as a Social Worker in a hospital setting. (Preferred)
License/Certifications CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Preferred)
SW-LIC - PA Social Worker License (Preferred)
