River Region Psychiatry Associates is seeking a dedicated, full-time Social Worker to join our team at the Etowah County Jail in Gadsden, Alabama. This role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful, traditional social work services within a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct suicide risk screenings and assessments
   
• Develop and implement discharge planning for incarcerated individuals
   
• Assist individuals in accessing community resources and services upon release
   
• Provide individual therapy and supportive counseling
   
• Collaborate with medical, mental health, and correctional staff
   

Schedule: Monday – Friday, full-time hours (no evenings or weekends required)

Qualifications:

• LBSW, LMSW, or MSW (Licensed Bachelor Social Worker, Licensed Master Social Worker, or Master of Social Work)
   
• Licensed or license-eligible in Alabama
   
• Experience in mental health, corrections, or related setting a plus
   
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
