Social Worker/Community Worker - Join a Market Leader

We are looking to fill Multiple Social Workers/Community Workers in various locations in Florida.

Pay Rate: $20.97/hr

Dress Code: Business Casual

Work Environment: In office, mostly cubicles.

CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Training will be through job-shadowing and connection with seasoned full time employees. We also have video and online trainings.

Draws conclusions from reading/reviewing medicalrecords, and then writes corresponding case- notes which highlight thekey-points.

Utilizes established guidelines and internalprotocol to determine if client meets medical eligibility criteria based onreview of medical records and client psychosocial history.

Applies knowledge of aging process, activitiesfor daily living and medical conditions to written case-notes.

Justifies medical eligibility recommendationthrough written narratives which summarize client's current situation,limitations and needs.

Presents case-notes and medical eligibilityrecommendations to Registered Nurse for approval, and adjusts to professionalfeedback provided by Registered Nurse and/or Supervisor

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
The candidates must meet the minimum qualification of:
a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a major in a related field,
OR
professional experience totaling four (4) or more years in a related field
OR
a combination of education and professional experience totaling four (4) or more years in a related field.

Applicants' must have the following experience.

• Ability to speak and understand English
• Experience in the social science, human services or a related field, such as case manager or social worker
• Extensive reading and writing competencies
• Knowledge of confidentiality requirements
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and electronic records
• Experience using Microsoft Word
• Knowledge of the aging process and effects of chronic illness
• Ability to demonstrate a professional and courteous demeanor to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with the public and staff
• Knowledge of medical and social terminology
• Critical thinking
• Excellent typing skills at least 35 wpm
