About This Role

As a Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and enhancement of our applications. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the development process by creating new features and ensuring the overall functionality of the applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and rigorously test new features for our applications, ensuring their reliability and performance. 
• Maintain clear and regular communication with team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties to ensure a smooth development process. 
• Implement, test, and troubleshoot software functionality, identifying and resolving bugs and issues. 
• Provide second-tier support to end users, addressing their inquiries and technical concerns effectively. 
• Deliver work on schedule, meeting project milestones and deadlines. 
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

Required Qualifications

• AS Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or Web Development or other related degree required. BS degree or greater strongly preferred/desired. 
• 2+ years of progressive development experience required.
• Solid understanding of the .NET Framework (Classic and Core) and C#. 
• Experience with designing, developing and integrating RESTful APIs. 
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure services and cloud technologies. 
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. 
• Ability to lead and coach Junior developers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to toggle between working autonomously and collaborating with a team
• Ability to take direction and work in a multi-located team
• Ability to travel to home office for training and projects (up to quarterly)
• Dedicated and secure remote workspace allowing for focus and minimal interruption is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python and Jupyter Notebooks
• Experience with deploying applications via DevOps pipelines
• Experience building Linux Systemd services
• Experience with Blazor
• Experience building Microservices using gRPC, queues, etc.
• Experience dockerizing applications and deploying containers

Hours of Operation

Although CompIQ operates both Philippines day and night shifts, this role will predominately work local day shift hours with flexibility and requirement to ensure visibility with teams on alternative shifts as well as to join calls originating in US hours.
