Software Developer - VB6/OracleSQL

About the Role:

• Maintain and enhance existing VB6 applications
• Design, develop, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in both application and database layers
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Write and maintain technical documentation for applications and database processes
• Support system enhancements and modernization initiatives as needed

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with VB6 application development
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database and PL/SQL (procedures, functions, triggers, performance tuning)
• Solid understanding of relational database design and SQL best practices
• Experience debugging, troubleshooting, and supporting production systems
• Familiarity with source control and version management
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
