Software Engineer (Defect Manager) . This position is open to candidates locally or within a commutable distance to the
Chattanooga, TN
area as this opportunity requires associates
to work onsite in a hybrid capacity.
Pay/Salary Range: $47 per hour - $52.49 per hour
As a
Software Engineer (Defect Manager) , you will be responsible for tracking functional errors reported from test drives conducted by teams. Additionally this will include failure report tracking, reporting, and follow-up activities for verification of solutions.
Software Engineer (Defect Manager)
job responsibilities include:
Provides documentation (failure report, tracing) on infotainment communication errors found during static and dynamic evaluation
Uploads the documentation to the central database and follows up directly with responsible engineers for resolution
Reports and communicates error status and critical issues to key project partners
Qualifications:
2-5 years of related engineering experience
Excellent Communicator
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Experience tracking SW defects via defect tracking tools
High sense of detecting risks
Software Engineering (Application Development) background
