The Role

We are looking for a full-stack software engineer to take Knock to the next level. We leverage a number of tools to create a cohesive development ecosystem that allows us to scale horizontally, deliver quickly, avoid regressions, and maintain minimal technical debt. Our goal is 100% automated test coverage and continuous deployment, and were always raising the bar on quality.

The Team

The Product and Engineering teams together consist of 40 talented and passionate team members, working to make Knock the premier software product in the Multifamily real estate industry.

Our product covers a large surface - powering marketing automation, omni channel communications, AI bots, sales and renewal CRM, agent and self-guided touring, tenant screening, advanced business intelligence capabilities, and much more. We utilize an agile development process, and lean heavily on best practices around PR FAQs, PRD, UX research and usability testing, SDLC, etc. all to ensure we are maximizing product fit and execution.

+ Participate in design discussions for products that focus on the Customer Experience
+ Coding to support the development of the Customer Experience product
+ Participate in code reviews

**Day to Day**
**Qualifications**
+ 3+ years experience with modern languages (Python, Typescript, Java, Golang, C#, Rust, etc)
+ 2+ years using modern frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular)
+ Experience working with Relational Databases such as Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL
+ Familiarity with using Cloud based platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure
+ Familiarity with unit and end-to-end testing
+ Strong attention to detail, performance and quality
+ Experience working in fast-paced, agile environment
+ Bonus: Experience using Terraform or other like tool for cloud formation

We started Knock to solve problems we faced ourselves. One of those problems was that the process for renting an apartment hadnt evolved at the same pace as technology. Our mission was to improve the experience for both apartment renters and managers.
