Software Engineer I-II 0526

Job Description - Software Engineer I-II 0526

We are looking for a Junior to Midlevel Software Engineer who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to
meaningful data challenges from day one. This is a role for someone who enjoys writing code, building
practical solutions, and developing their skills alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.

You will contribute to the development of data-intensive applications that power our identity and analytics
platform. You will support ETL and AI generated pipelines, implement tagging solutions, and write clean SQL
and JavaScript—growing your skills in a production environment with real impact.

If you are curious about data, comfortable with SQL and JavaScript, and excited to build workflows solutions
that power real marketing decisions—this role is a great place to grow.

What You’ll Do

Contribute & Collaborate

• Work alongside senior engineers to implement features, fix bugs, and participate in code
reviews—learning team standards and best practices through hands-on collaboration.
• Build and maintain ETL and AI generated pipelines that extract, transform, and load identity and
behavioral data across our platform.
• Implement and maintain tagging solutions that support audience segmentation, tracking, and
measurement workflows.
• Contribute to technical documentation and assist in translating business requirements into well-scoped
development tasks.

Build & Learn

• Write SQL queries and stored procedures against AWS Redshift and SQL Server to support data
pipelines, reporting, and platform operations.
• Develop JavaScript-based components and integrations that support front-end tagging, data capture,
and audience activation workflows.
• Assist in building and maintaining backend services and APIs that support our targeting and
measurement platform.
• Support Python-based data workflows and contribute to scripts that process and transform identity and
behavioral datasets.
• Learn and apply AI-assisted development tools—including code-generation assistants and automated
testing aids—to build good habits and improve your own productivity.
Grow & Improve

• Participate in the migration and improvement of existing systems, gaining exposure to cloud-native
architectures on AWS.
• Explore and adopt emerging developer tools and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate your own
learning and output quality.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to understand requirements and develop practical solutions
with guidance from senior engineers.

Qualifications

Required

• 1–3 years of software engineering experience, including early-career roles involving data or
application development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (required)—comfortable writing queries, joins, and transformations
against relational databases; experience with JavaScript and working knowledge of Python.
• Familiarity with ETL concepts and processes—experience building or maintaining data pipelines
that extract, transform, and load structured data.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks, Business Intelligence processes (strongly preferred) in the
automation of services related to data and service delivery.
• Experience with tagging implementations—pixel tags, tracking tags, or data layer implementations
for audience segmentation or analytics purposes.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn—comfortable asking questions, taking
feedback, and iterating quickly in a collaborative team environment.
• A curious, problem-solving mindset: you enjoy digging into data, asking why things work the way
they do, and finding cleaner ways to get the job done.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent
practical experience through coursework, bootcamps, or self-directed projects.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
Preferred
• Exposure to cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery—even through
academic projects or personal work.
• Experience with Python scripting or automation—even simple scripts that manipulate or move
data between systems.
• Basic familiarity with digital marketing concepts such as audience targeting, pixels, or
attribution—curiosity about how data drives marketing decisions is a plus.
• Any exposure to version control (Git), REST APIs, or basic software development workflows.
• Interest in AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar) and a habit of using them to
learn and improve code quality.

Why This Role

• Get hands-on experience with real production data systems—ETL pipelines, tagging, SQL—on a
platform that processes hundreds of millions of identity records.
• Work at a company that actively invests in and encourages the use of AI to improve how engineers
build and how systems perform.
• Work on genuinely interesting data problems—big scale, regulated industries, real-time
requirements—with mentorship and support as you build your skills.
• Join a focused, supportive team where your contributions are visible, your questions are welcome, and
your growth is a shared priority.

• Competitive compensation and the energy of an on-site, collaborative environment in North Andover,
MA.
