What You Will Do

As a Software Engineer III, you'll design, build, and support custom software applications with a strong eye toward security and code quality. You'll work closely with peers on application design, contribute to code reviews, and help the team stay current on new engineering approaches.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement software applications and components


• Apply OWASP Top 10 mitigation strategies with guidance from peers


• Provide production support for custom applications on common, non-complex issues


• Review and recommend third party package updates and code quality improvements


• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with peers to improve overall code quality


• Research emerging engineering practices and share findings through tech proposals


• Develop and deliver training materials in electronic format

Who You Are

You're a proficient engineer who communicates clearly, documents your work well, and is comfortable working from written specs and established guidelines. You're adaptable, curious, and interested in web application design, with a professional and courteous approach to working with others.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with relational databases such as SQL


• Comfortable mocking or rapidly prototyping application designs


• Strong communicator able to gather requirements and document information for wider use


• Proficiency with modern web frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue, Angular preferred


• Proficiency with object oriented programming, C# preferred


• Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript preferred


• Proficiency with CSS, SCSS or SASS preferred
