Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Software Engineer (T02) to join our Space Park Software Engineering organization. This position is located in Manhattan Beach, CA.\n\nIn this role, you will serve as both the Agile Product Owner for, and the lead/sole developer of, an application. You will effectively coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and verify program requirements, groom the Agile backlog to plan and execute necessary work, and present at Agile Sprint planning and review sessions to the customer. You will be responsible for full-stack development, from the Java backend code to the Javascript/HTML web application user interface.\n\n \nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor\u0027s degree; 0 years of relevant experience with Master\u0027s degree; an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree\n\n * Active SCI clearance required at the time of application\n\n * Proficiency in the following: Java, HTML, Javascript\n\n * Experience in software development deliverables and processes\n\n * Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong interpersonal and analytic skills; works well in a team environment and independently\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in STEM\n\n * Experience with Agile development and continuous integration and test\n\n * Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements, streamline activities, and develop efficiencies\n\n * Previous in depth domain knowledge of program software design and code preferred\n\n * Proficiency with DevOps technologies including Jenkins, Fortify, Ansible, Atlassian suite\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
