Software Engineer, Staff

Overview

BigBear.ai is seeking a Software Engineer Staff to join the SDK and Veriscan product team
This position will be based out of McLean VA

and can be performed fully remote.
PangiamLabs is seeking a full stack software developer to lead the development of our commercial cloud-based web application. The responsibilities include managing an agile team to deliver new capabilities while ensuring high performance and responsiveness to our commercial clients
What you will do

Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy new and existing software and web applications.
Build prototypes, proof of concepts and support R&D efforts.
Provide the technical expertise in troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues
Isolate performance issue and analyze bottlenecks
Design robust APIs to support external systems, web and mobile applications
Define external interfaces and manage the interchange of data between the server and the users.
Maintain and enhance API documentation of backend web services
Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems on the cloud
Develop and maintain full unit test coverage for critical components.
Implementation of security and data protection
What you need to have

Excellent foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web services design
Experience writing highly secure serverless cloud-based applications that leverage Infrastructure as Code approach using AWS core technologies: Lambda, DynamoDB, APIGateway, Cognito, CloudWatch, etc...
Professional experience in designing RESTful APIs, business logic using various programming languages: JavaScript, Java, Python
Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Quick problem-solving skills with exceptional aptitude and reasoning
Familiar with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environment
Proven work experience of 2-4 years in a similar or related field
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
