Software Product Manager, Powershare

The Software Product Manager, Powershare will be part of our energy engineering teams that are responsible for delivering end to end products and services to support Tesla Energy and Charging. This product management role will be hyper focused on supporting the Powershare software features, and new product launches in the Powershare and Wireless charging vertical. Additionally, this role will be accountable for ensuring our existing ecosystem of products and features all work seamlessly together and accelerate the customer launch schedule for these software features.
This is a multi-faceted product management role where flexibility to apply your skills to support changing product needs is a must. Ability to understand customer and market desires, combined with a solid technical foundation is expected. What You’ll Do

Lead product effort to work with engineering and architect Plug&Play architecture for Powershare compatible products – Powerwall, Wall Connector variants, Garfield, PVI, Remote meter
Assemble customer focused data to prioritize development and launch Powershare software features
Work with external partners and Tesla Integration teams to pilot Powershare V2G
Drive Product Management for Feature and Performance Improvement Roadmaps
Deliver End to End feature and functional technical leadership
Work with engineering and DX teams to deliver a scalable solution that not just meets current needs, but considers future growth scenarios
Communicating feature hand-offs with stakeholders, including executives, team members and users
What You’ll Bring

4+ years of work experience in a product management capacity in fast-pace environments
Experience in software & firmware development for connected devices
Experience in electric vehicle charging plus
Experience in UI/UXs development for industrial applications and users
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to execute many projects and tasks in parallel
Deep passion for transitioning the world to sustainable energy
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent

Expected Compensation
$92,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
