Software Project Manager (Mid -level)

TekRecruiter has been asked to recruit a Software Project Manager to join the team of an awesome medical technology company. This position sits in San Jose, CA and is ideally for someone with 3 to 6 years of experience. 

The responsibilities can include, but are not limited to: defining a software development plan in alignment with program and business teams, coordinating software design team in designing critical features and functions, managing the software development life cycle, including all documentation and process deliverables, leading software change review board, facilitating the execution of software implementation using Agile/Scrum methodologies, coordinating with other R&D teams (hardware, embedded software and systems) to ensure product-level requirements are met and overseeing design qualification via unit, functional and workflow testing.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Scientific discipline.
  




• Minimum of 3 years of post-educational professional experience in the healthcare / life sciences domain.
  




• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
  




• Prior experience and consistent track record leading complex projects.
  




• Experience driving and delivering projects which involve integration with multiple different teams.
  




• Ability to create and execute plans while constructively dealing and reducing ambiguity.
  




• Ability to communicate aspects of the project and filter messaging based on the target audience.
  




• Unafraid to ask hard questions.
  




• A deeply curious mindset about new ideas.
  

• Software Project/Program management experience (3 to 6 years) 
  


• Experience managing the software of an instrumentation device
  


• Must be able to work in the San Jose office 


• Experience with crossfunctional subsystems
  


• Detail-oriented, strong presentation skills
