About This Role

As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing test plans, participating in the creation of quality assurance standards, and making recommendations for changes and improvements to the product. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Test existing and upcoming products and identify deficiencies 
• Offer solutions to identified product problems 
• Create and maintain detailed bug tickets
• Investigate product quality with the goal of better customer satisfaction 
• Plan, create, and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy 
• Collaborate with the Product and Development teams to ensure consistent project execution 
• Oversee continuous improvement projects to multiple products
• Identify key KPIs for product quality 
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer 
• 2+ years of experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and other 
• 2+ years of experience with software QA tools and processes 
• A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success 
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills 
• Good time-management skills 
• Great interpersonal and communication skills 
• Strong English language skills required 
• Technical Writing skills a plus
• SQL skills a plus

Hours of Operation

Although CompIQ operates both Philippines day and night shifts, this role will predominately work local day shift hours with flexibility and requirement to ensure visibility with teams on alternative shifts as well as to join calls originating in US hours.
