Compensation: 45k/year

Job Description

• Participate in brainstorming sessions over business requirements with the Business Analysts and Project managers

• Translate requirements into test cases

• Provide test estimates, by keeping project timelines in view

• Create test data as required

• Execute test cases and log defects in defect tracking tools

• Work closely with developers towards defect/issue resolution.

Requirements

• Must have basic knowledge about Software development, Software testing techniques and Software development life cycle.

• Must have basic programming experience in C/C++/Java/.Net, knowledge in SQL/PL SQL is preferred

• Must have knowledge on MS Office (Knowledge on reporting techniques using MS Excel is preferred)

• Knowledge in using defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, HP QC is preferred.

• Candidates with enthusiasm in IT industry and proactive learners are preferred.

• Organized and strong attention to detail.

• Should be flexible to research and learn new methodologies/techniques/skills to automate testing and participate in knowledge sharing sessions with fellow team members.
