We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with hands-on expertise in test automation using Cypress and Appium.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for both web and mobile applications, ensuring a high standard of software quality across platforms.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about driving automation excellence within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications (Cypress) and mobile apps (Appium).

• Create, manage, and execute test plans, test cases, and test data to validate business and technical requirements.

• Perform manual testing when required for exploratory, edge, or new feature validation.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and API testing.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure test coverage and quality standards.

• Report, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar tools.

• Contribute to the enhancement of the QA automation framework, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

• Ensure all deliverables meet defined quality metrics and performance standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including 1+ years in automation testing.

• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript) for web automation.

• Proven experience using Appium for mobile (iOS and Android) automation testing.

• Good understanding of API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).

• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.

• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
