Seeking a technical leader to lead a team of expert developers building scalable, data-intensive solutions with a state-of-the-art stack. This role champions data platform scale and team growth.

About the Engineering team 

The Claroty Engineering (R&D) Department is a group of talented engineers with specialties including BE, FE, DevOps, QA and automation, who come from a variety of backgrounds and organizations with strong experience and skills in software development and cybersecurity.

Our engineers use the most state-of-the-art technologies available to build our products – from Kafka to K8s, Spark, React, AWS lambdas & Argo workflows and many others – ensuring the fastest and highest-quality delivery to our customers.

We are solving some of the most complex technical challenges in the industry today – anything from networking traffic analysis, big-data analysis, multi-tenancy architecture and limited resources design and implementation to cope with high performance requirements, and sophisticated UX concepts.

We embrace the AI revolution by equipping you with AI-powered IDEs, customizable agent rules, and prompt engineering tools that streamline your workflow and ensure reliable CI/CD pipelines.

As a Software Data Platform Team Leader, Your impact will be:

• Lead a team of talented developers, driving the core of our product throughout its development lifecycle to deliver reliable, low-latency insights and ML-driven capabilities at massive scale.
• Ensure technical excellence, high product quality, innovation, and on-time delivery in an agile environment.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, development teams, and other stakeholders to transform ideas into real customer value.
• Actively participate in the R&D Leadership Forum, contributing to discussions that shape the future of our product.
• Mentor and support team members in their professional growth and career development.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

• 3+ years of proven track record in leading R&D teams (Must)
• 5+ years of a strong track record in backend/full-stack development (Must)
• Proven ability to build and scale large-scale applications (Must)
• Strong expertise in both architecture and implementation of high-scale systems (Must)
• Experience with big data technologies at scale: Spark, Kafka, data lakes/lakehouses and workflow orchestration (Must)
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), data modeling, partitioning, indexing, and performance tuning (Must)
• Experience with MLOps concepts and tooling (Advantage)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
