We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Test Lead to support the Medical Modeling and Simulation (MM&S) team in support of the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC). The team develops and supports software applications used by the Department of Defense to assist in healthcare planning, operational readiness, logistics analysis, and medical decision support.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate software testing activities across multiple projects and software releases.


• Conduct weekly test status meetings and communicate progress to project stakeholders.


• Coordinate testing efforts among software developers, analysts, and end users.


• Review software requirements and designs to ensure adequate test coverage.


• Develop, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test procedures.


• Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing activities.


• Support automated testing efforts and software verification activities.


• Analyze test results and identify software defects and anomalies.


• Document, track, and verify defect resolution.


• Generate test reports and quality metrics.


• Provide feedback and recommendations to software development teams.


• Support requirements traceability and software validation activities.


• Assist with continuous improvement of software testing processes and procedures.
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical field.


• Active SECRET Clearance required.


• Requires 5+ years of software testing, quality assurance, or software verification experience.


• Requires 2+ years of experience in a test lead, team lead, or technical coordination role.


• Experience developing and executing test plans, test procedures, and test cases.


• Experience performing functional, integration, regression, and system testing.


• Experience working throughout the software development lifecycle.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 annually.
