Solar Electrician

Cedar Park Group is hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in ground-mounted solar fields. This role is for a licensed or previously licensed electrician with at least seven years of solar experience who has served as a Lead Electrician. The candidate will oversee electrical operations on large-scale solar projects, ensuring quality installation, safety compliance, and efficient team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret electrical and solar system blueprints to guide installation and wiring.


• Order materials and ensure necessary components are available on-site.


• Lead a team of 20+ electricians and laborers, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety standards.


• Perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance on ground-mounted solar fields.


• Provide daily reports on project progress, challenges, and work completed to the office.


• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all work meets NEC, local codes, and project specifications.

Qualifications:

• Licensed or previously licensed Journeyman Electrician.


• 7+ years of solar experience (specifically ground-mounted solar fields).


• Prior experience as a Lead Electrician, managing teams of 20+ workers.


• Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics for solar installations.


• Experience with ordering materials and coordinating logistics for large-scale projects.


• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
