Overview

Our client is a leading energy company in the renewable energy sector, seeking an experienced PGD Engineer to join their Solar Inverter Team. This Level 2 engineering position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge solar power generation projects while applying diversified knowledge of engineering principles to a broad variety of assignments in the renewable energy field.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles and practices to solar power generation systems and inverter technology
• Make independent decisions regarding engineering issues and processes related to solar inverters
• Work on diverse assignments within the solar power generation field
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on solar fleet operations and maintenance
• Support PV capital projects and solar inverter optimization
• Travel up to 10% for project requirements
• Driving required as part of position duties

Requirements

• 6-10 years of engineering experience
• Strong background in solar power generation or renewable energy systems
• Experience with solar inverter technology and PV systems
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no alcohol/drug related offenses within 5 years)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
