Solar Technician

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Solar Technician with hands-on experience working with Tesla Powerwall and Tesla battery systems. In this role, you'll be part of a forward-thinking team focused on delivering efficient and reliable solar energy solutions in the Phoenix area. Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and troubleshoot Tesla Powerwall and other battery backup systems.
   
• Support rooftop solar PV system installations and maintenance.
   
• Conduct site assessments and identify any issues in existing systems.
   
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to code.
   
• Provide customer education and answer system-related questions.
   
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and submit reports as required.
   
• Travel within the Phoenix area to customer job sites.
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
   
• NABCEP Certification or training.
   
• Experience with other smart battery systems or microinverter technologies.
   

Requirements

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in solar PV installation and battery systems.  
• Direct experience with Tesla Powerwall or Tesla-certified powerwalls is required.  
• High school diploma or GED; technical certifications a plus.  
• Familiarity with NEC, local codes, and safety procedures.  
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on rooftops, and use hand/power tools.  
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.  
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
