Solar/BESS Engineer

The Engineer will work within a multi-disciplinary team to engineer/design solar and energy storage solutions in of our Renewable Business Unit.

Responsibilities

• Renewable Energy application engineering (Solar & Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS))


• Substation application engineering


• Perform complex engineering/design calculations specific to discipline (equipment sizing, load flow, short circuit, Arc flash, grounding, etc.)


• Prepare red-lines / design calculations to produce required drawings (single-line, layouts, plans, etc.)


• Prepare required specifications


• Interface with clients, vendors, and sub-contractors

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US


• Ability to read and apply applicable codes/standards


• Skilled in the use of computer equipment and software


• High level of interpersonal skills


• Effective analytical skills


• Self starter

Education Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an Accredited College or University.


• EIT, PE, or the ability to obtain
