General Description:

The Solder Technician is responsible for performing high-quality hand soldering on circuit board assemblies. Depending on skill level, this may include rework tasks such as desoldering and resoldering components. Essential Job Functions:

• Perform hand soldering on circuit assemblies.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Identify a proper solder joint per IPC standard.

• Any other task assigned by management.

Skills:

• Familiar with proper hand soldering techniques.

• Familiar with the handling of electronic components.

• Familiar with the handling of electronic assemblies.

• Basic mechanical abilities.

• Able to communicate with colleagues in a positive manner.
