Most enterprise software gets bought before it gets understood.


A sales team closes the deal. An implementation team configures the product. And somewhere in between, the real problem — the one that actually drove the purchase decision — never gets properly diagnosed. The customer ends up with a tool that works, but not one that transforms.


We’re building Metaprise to be different. Metaprise is the Enterprise Agent Operating System — a unified platform where AI agents can be deployed, orchestrated, governed, and trusted at scale. With AURA as the core execution and governance engine, we serve the most regulated enterprises on the planet: regional banks, capital markets firms, healthcare systems, and insurance carriers. The platform is real. The customers are real. The traction is real.


What we need now is someone who can go deep — someone who can sit across from a Head of AI, a Chief Compliance Officer, or a Chief Risk Officer and understand exactly where their agent deployments are breaking down. Someone who doesn’t just demo a product, but architects the answer to a real enterprise problem.


This role is the bridge between what our customers are struggling with and what Metaprise becomes next.


What You’ll Own


You are not a demo resource. You are the person who figures out what the customer actually needs — and builds the case for how we solve it.




  • Diagnose customer pain with rigor and depth. You go beyond surface-level requirements. You get into the room with Heads of AI, engineering leads, compliance officers, and risk teams and ask the questions that reveal where the real friction is — governance gaps, audit failures, agent identity issues, uncontrolled execution, broken orchestration. You document what you find with enough precision that it becomes the foundation for everything that follows.




  • Translate pain into product and business solutions. You don’t just relay what customers say — you synthesize it. You identify patterns across conversations, connect problems to platform capabilities across AURA, the Six Engines, Orchestration, and Observability, and design solution architectures that map Metaprise to a customer’s specific operational and compliance reality.




  • Lead technical discovery and pre-sales architecture. You join enterprise sales conversations as the senior technical voice — shaping how we position the platform, defining what a deployment would actually look like across Cloud, Hybrid, or air-gapped environments, and giving prospects the confidence that we understand their constraints and can operate within them.




  • Define the requirements that drive the roadmap. What you surface in the field is the clearest signal our product team gets about what to build next. You bring structured insight — not just feature requests, but prioritized, contextualized business cases that help us make better decisions about where to invest.




  • Build the implementation blueprint. For customers ready to move forward, you design the deployment architecture — agent configuration, governance policy setup, orchestration patterns, integration mapping — and hand it off in a way that sets the implementation team up to execute without re-learning everything you already discovered.




  • Lay the foundation for a growing solutions function. As we grow, the frameworks you build, the patterns you identify, and the processes you establish will define how a broader Solutions team operates. You’re not just doing the work — you’re building the playbook that a Solutions Engineer will eventually execute beneath you.




Who You Are


We’re not looking for someone who knows how to give a great demo. We’re looking for someone who knows how to find the problem behind the problem — and then build something that actually solves it.


The baseline:




  • 2+ years in solutions architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting — ideally working with enterprise AI, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, or highly regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or insurance.




  • You’ve led complex technical discovery engagements. You know how to structure a conversation that surfaces real requirements — not just stated ones — and turn them into something a product or engineering team can act on.




  • You understand agent-based systems, orchestration patterns, and enterprise governance well enough to earn technical credibility with the engineers and platform teams you’ll be sitting across from.




  • Bachelor’s degree or above.




Here’s what your week actually looks like:


You’re in discovery sessions with Heads of AI and Chief Compliance Officers at regional banks and healthcare systems, mapping where their agent deployments are breaking down and what that costs them. You’re designing deployment architectures that show exactly how AURA’s governance and execution layers fit into their infrastructure. You’re on calls with our product team translating what you heard in the field into prioritized, actionable requirements. You’re building the frameworks and documentation that will eventually allow a Solutions Engineer to scale the work you’ve established. And you’re doing all of it with the kind of structured thinking that turns a customer conversation into a product direction.


What makes you right for this:




  • You’re a diagnostician first. You don’t lead with the product — you lead with questions. You know that the best solution architecture starts with the clearest possible picture of the problem.




  • You can hold a technically rigorous conversation with a platform engineer about execution runtimes and orchestration, and a strategically compelling one with a Chief Risk Officer about governance and auditability — and you’re credible in both.




  • You think in systems. You can map a customer’s agent deployment landscape, identify where governance and control are breaking down, and design a solution that addresses root causes — not symptoms.




  • You understand what it means to deploy AI agents in regulated environments — audit trails, policy enforcement, identity and authority frameworks, compliance constraints. You don’t need to be an expert in every vertical, but you know why these things matter and how to speak to them.




  • You produce artifacts that outlast the conversation — clear documentation, deployment architectures, and requirement specs that a product or implementation team can actually use.




  • Startup mindset — you build the process when there isn’t one, you move before you’re asked, and you understand that the frameworks you create now will define how a team operates later.

Direct influence over the product roadmap. What you surface in the field shapes what we build. You’ll be in the room when those decisions are made — not summarizing a report, but making the case directly.

Enterprise AI agent deployment is accelerating faster than governance can keep up. The companies building in financial services, healthcare, and insurance are under real regulatory pressure to show that their agents are auditable, governed, and controlled. Most of them don’t yet have the infrastructure to do that.


Metaprise is that infrastructure. And the person in this role will be the one who goes deep enough with those customers to make sure what we build is exactly what they need.

Location: New York City, on-site. The diagnostic work this role requires happens in person — in customer offices, in working sessions, and in the direct collaboration with our product and sales teams that only proximity enables.
