Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Solutions Architect with a strong background in Java development and extensive experience with AWS cloud services. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering innovative solutions that meet our clients' business needs. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
• Design and architect solutions based on Java technologies and AWS cloud services.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from conception to implementation.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed in software development.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance your skills and contribute to the team's knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect with a focus on Java development and AWS.
• Strong expertise in Java programming language and related frameworks.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and ECS.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development and architecture.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) a strong plus.
• Ability to provide technical leadership to engineering team within a larger project
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading projects using Agile/Scrum development processes and DevSecOps, including CI/CD
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) from conception through end of life, including use of iterative development, test-driven development, introduction of testing concepts (manual/automated) early in the process, and installation and troubleshooting techniques
• Strong proficiency and hands-on expertise with Java/Object-oriented programming, SQL, PL SQL, and AWS and related technologies
• Strong proficiency with basic web technologies, including HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP, WSDL, REST, JSON, and JavaScript
• Proficiency with at least one Relational Database Management System (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Experience with version control system (e.g., Git)
• Experience with an issue/problem tracking system (e.g., Jira)
