A successful Solution Engineer will quickly gain the highest level of understanding of our product and use that knowledge to drive the sales process and quick adoption of the Sifted solutions by our clients.

This role will have a constant focus on creating a bridge between sales, engineering, and customer success; you will own aligning the customer pain points to the Sifted solution functionally to meet the customer's needs. They will effectively work closely with the Sales, Engineering, and Client Success teams to ensure they are the subject matter expert on the Sifted platform.

• Technical capability to capture, interpret, quantify, and document customer requirements clearly and concisely to result in a presentable solution*
• Understand the customer’s business and use that knowledge to provide innovative solutions*
• Align with our sales team to lead pre-sales initiatives with prospective new clients*
• Capture and provide valuable customer feedback for product improvements
• Implement custom solutions and support ad hoc projects
• Participate in development and thought leadership to support growth within our Sifted platform
• Curate partner presentations to communicate Sifted platform solutions and benefits*
• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and technical authority to clients, from technical staff to C-suite executives.
• Provide sales leadership with reports on sales activities and projects as requested*
• Responsive; you prioritize timely communication and action, minimizing wait times.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience within the parcel industry
• Minimum of 3 years of pre-sales engineer experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to embrace AI as a core tool for problem-solving and innovation.*
• Experience within SaaS
• Preferred technical ability: PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, Excel or any other BI tools experience
• Proven record of success in the ability to align with sales teams to close deals
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate to all levels
• Ability to think creatively and strategically, remaining highly organized in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and inquisitive
• Self-driven, results-orientated individual
• A keen sense for business development
• Strong presentation skills
• Develop and maintain strong relationships both externally and internally
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a track record of enabling data-driven teams.
