Sonic Driller:

Find a Home with Holocene Drilling.

This is a role in Western WA, we have relocation packages for the right candidates. 

Under the indirect supervision of the designated supervisor, the Sonic Driller performs routine to difficult sonic drilling, sampling, and well

installation tasks and maintains field equipment. This individual will supervise driller's assistants in procedures. In addition, the driller coordinates with various staff professionals or client field representatives, including verifications of work performed and working hours.

This role will be working on jobs in Western Washington, on the I-5 corridor from Olympia to Marysville. Starting and ending the day in our Puyallup, WA location.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs sonic and rotary drilling, sampling, and well installation operations. Records pertinent information relative to field activities and work performed.


• Directs the work of subordinates related to field activities.


• Must possess a Class "A" CDL.


• Collects drilling data.


• Follows written corporate safety policy and enforces compliance by subordinates.


• Maintains company vehicles and equipment (We also have in house Mechanics to help and do major repairs).


• Prepares daily field reports. Communicates equipment and personnel needs to supervisor on a daily basis.
  


• Interact with client's field representatives to report work completed and to resolve problems in the field.


• Directs and assists drill crew with site mobilization, materials handling, and decontamination of equipment.


• Performs, with assistance, routine to very difficult drilling, sampling activities.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Five years, experience in the Drilling Field.


• 3 years, Lead Sonic Driller experience. 


• Class "A" CDL.
  
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30-$40 per hour (1.5x after 8 hrs worked per day)
