Job Title: Sonographer
Location: Baltimore, MD
Salary: $35.00-$40.00/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (some weekend coverage and on-call required, discussed at interview)

Job Overview:

We are hiring two mobile Sonographers to provide diagnostic ultrasound services in nursing homes, home care settings, correctional facilities, and other healthcare environments. This is a full-time, field-based position offering autonomy, variety, and meaningful impact in patient care across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and process portable ultrasound exams and transmit to Radiologists
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers
• Ensure accuracy of physician orders before performing exams
• Maintain sonographic equipment and vehicle
• Communicate with dispatch, clients, and team members professionally
• Follow infection control and documentation protocols
• Support training of other technologists as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience performing general ultrasound in mobile or facility settings
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic smartphone and computer skills required
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Physical exam and TB screening required at hire and annually
