Sonographer (Nights)

We are looking for an exceptional Sonographer to join our dedicated overnight Ultrasound Team at a world-class academic medical center in beautiful Burlington, Vermont. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, patient-centered imaging professional who is ready to make an impact during critical nighttime hours. You’ll work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality care using advanced imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of routine and complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures using high-frequency sound waves.
• Tailor imaging techniques to account for patient-specific conditions such as tissue type and anatomical challenges.
• Exercise strong diagnostic judgment to obtain additional or alternative images as necessary.
• Independently conduct exams under physician supervision while collaborating with peers when appropriate.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a certified CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or equivalent two-year allied health program.
• Current ARDMS registration with credentials in either Abdomen (ABD) or OB/GYN.
• Minimum of two (2) years of paid diagnostic scanning experience.

Preferred:

• Prior experience working in a Level I trauma center.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Salary & Benefits

• Competitive base salary: $79,000 – $125,000 based on experience.
