Job Summary:
The Echo Vascular Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular and vascular conditions. This role combines technical skill and compassionate patient care to support the delivery of high-quality, personalized healthcare.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic echocardiography and vascular ultrasound studies following clinical protocols
Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and answer questions to ensure patient comfort
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards
Analyze images and data to identify and document abnormalities
Accurately chart procedures and findings in the EMR system
Maintain high image quality through ongoing quality control and adherence to imaging protocols
Participate in continuing education to stay current with ultrasound practices and technology
Support safety and infection control standards at all times
Willingness to travel between designated clinic locations
Minimum 1 year of practical experience as a Sonographer
Minimum 10 months in a clinical setting performing cardiac and/or vascular ultrasounds
Open to recent graduates who meet technical and clinical criteria
Proficient in ECHO and vascular ultrasound imaging and interpretation
State licensure or certification as required
Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology
Skilled in troubleshooting and using ultrasound equipment
Strong interpersonal, time management, and communication skills
Willingness to travel to various clinics in Kingman, Havasu, Bullhead
