What we need:

The Sourcing Analyst is an established performer that works closely with the Sourcing team to analyze and manage sourcing strategies. This role involves collecting and interpreting data, identifying trends, and collaborating with suppliers to achieve cost savings and enhance overall procurement efficiency.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate all activities related to procurement of the recycling category beginning with intent to purchase through delivery. Analyze the requirements of the commodity, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and date commodity is needed.


• Implement purchase contracts that comply with company and government regulations.


• Assures that the commodity is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and meets the quality standards of the company. Maintain timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records.


• Coordinate and analyze freight options for category.


• Maintain contact with appropriate internal partners to help determine short and long-term demand.  


• Communicate proactively with suppliers to manage expectations and build relationships.


• Monitor and evaluate shipment and supplier performance.


• Perform other duties as needed.

What you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.


• 2-4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

What you’re good at:

• Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.


• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.


• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.


• High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.


• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.


• SAP experience preferred.
