Sourcing Analytics Manager

SUMMARY:

The Sourcing Analytics Manager will be responsible for the development and production of owned categories from initial concept through delivery. The Sourcing Analytics Manager helps source the highest quality sustainable raw materials, communicates daily with cross functional stakeholders and vendors (both domestic and overseas) and turns the designers’ vision into tangible objects.  They will work closely with Vendors, Designers, Merchants, and Planners to execute the sourcing strategy and hit overall business goals. 

Reports to: VP, Sourcing

Location: LA Based (in office 2 days a week)

What You’ll Do:

• Manage developments and production with domestic and overseas vendors


• Source and onboard new vendors as needed


• Support new seasonal development counter sourcing initiatives 




• Own costing process end-to-end for products


• Develop on-product packaging


• Review and approve TOPs


• Review and approve 3rd party testing reports


• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure on time delivery of bulk goods




• Create and/or co-create tools to support sourcing decisions




• Capacity analysis to support risk mitigation


• Diversification models to support global allocation and margin goals 




• Attends and participates in concept and development meetings for the brand


• Collaborate with cross-functional partners - design, planning, merchandising, technical design, logistics


• Considers sustainability impact when developing new products to hit brand’s goals


• Maintain and develop vendor relationships to ensure key partnerships for future growth: improved costs and MOQs, lead times, flexibility




• Own regular check ins with key suppliers and provide qualitative performance feedback, e.g., supplier scorecards




• Work closely with partners to adhere to development calendar 


• Maintain accurate production tools that are consistent with the PLM system


• Ideate, own and present special projects as needed (Vendor Operations Guide, Market Factors Reporting, etc)


• Mentor and/or manage team members as needed

Who You Are:

• 5+ years sourcing, product development, or production experience working with both large and small organizations


• Experience with overseas textile production


• Experience with finding, onboarding, and cultivating new vendor relationships


• Brings relevant industry knowledge of network and contacts


• An excellent communicator with experience working collaboratively with cross-functional partners and global vendors.


• Self-starter, organized, detail oriented


• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel; knowledge of InDesign a bonus


• In-the-know with environmental, political and economical impacts to our industry 


• Passionate about sustainability


• Must be located in the LA area

Parachute takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. The estimated pay range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000.
