Sourcing Specialist - NPI

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:\n\n$70,300.00 - $116,400.00\n\nPurpose Statement: Responsible for negotiating lowest total cost of ownership, terms for assigned commodities. Support sites in achieving customer satisfaction with associated cost, quality, delivery, and working capital.\n\nKey Job Accountabilities:\n\n * Collaborate to the lowest total cost of ownership sourcing solutions for assigned commodities.\n * Negotiation of supply side component contracts, purchase agreements \u0026 tooling awards (where applicable).\n * Manage Supplier business review, and work with Supplier Quality Engineering on qualifying new supplier\n * Support Business Units in the areas of: resolving quality issues, generating material cost reductions, assisting in supplier delivery problems, and implementation of supply chain strategies\n * Manage the localization project until FA passes and localized parts move to volume production.\n * Understand Mechanical Drawings and associated commodities, GD\u0026T, CEC Manufacturing processes such as sheet metal, machining, injection molding, castings, cables \u0026 wire harness are prefered.\n * Support NPI process, supplier evaluation and qualification, identify potential risks to success in cost, time lines, quality.\n\n\n\nEducation/Experience Qualifications:\n\n * Typically requires a Bachelor\u2019s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.\n\n\n\nOther Qualifications:\n\n * Procurement, supply chain, distribution, and logistics competence\n * Strong experience driving KPIs\n * Demonstrated commodity management expertise\n * Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization\n * Strong data analysis and decision-making capabilities\n * Continuous improvement mindset\n * Project management experience\n\n\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\n * Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment.
