Overview

Our client is a leading energy company seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join their Nuclear operations team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge nuclear technology while managing complex sourcing agreements and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of sourcing experience with specific expertise in the nuclear industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute complex sourcing processes and implement sourcing policies and programs
• Develop and execute sophisticated sourcing agreements with unique terms and conditions
• Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance evaluation initiatives
• Drive cost optimization and strategic sourcing initiatives
• Conduct comprehensive supplier relationship management and industry analysis
• Perform in-depth supplier performance analysis and contract management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business units and key suppliers
• Ensure all business dealings comply with corporate, legal, and environmental regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA highly preferred)
• 5+ years of sourcing experience with demonstrated success
• In-depth knowledge of the Nuclear industry, specifically engineering-related aspects
• Proven ability to independently manage complex sourcing agreements
• Strong negotiation and commercial terms optimization skills
• Experience with strategic sourcing and cost reduction initiatives
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills
