Salary Information:
This position is assigned as a pay range 14 of the State of Ohio’s pay schedule, with a starting hourly rate of $40.40 and current range up to $57.67 per hour. Starting pay is usually at the minimum of the range unless otherwise required by law or union contract, or unless the selected candidate's qualifications warrant consideration above the minimum.
With continued employment and satisfactory performance, employees generally advance to the next pay step after six (6) months and then annually thereafter. Cost-of-living adjustments are typically applied on July 1.

As our Sourcing Supervisor, you will lead strategic sourcing and contracting activities while supervising a team of financial, sourcing, and budget professionals. You will work closely with agency leaders, program areas, vendors, and other state partners to ensure goods and services are procured effectively, competitively, and in accordance with applicable requirements.

Minimum qualifications for this classification include one of the following:
Have at least 4 ½ years’ experience in purchasing/procurement/sourcing to include exp. in performing spend analysis, developing sourcing strategy & evaluating vendor performance.
Completion of undergraduate core in public or business administration, purchasing, materials management, contracting, acquisition management or logistics, supply chain management, operations management or other sourcing related field with at least 2 ½ years’ experience in purchasing/procurement/sourcing.
Completion of graduate core in public or business administration, purchasing, materials management, contracting, acquisition management or logistics, supply chain management, operations management or other sourcing related field with at least 1 ½ years’ experience in purchasing/procurement/sourcing.
Have at least 2 years’ experience as Senior Sourcing Analyst with the State of Ohio.
Have at least 1 year experience as Sourcing Planner with the State of Ohio.
The equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
