Sous Chef Responsibilities
1. Work on stations and work the lead position
2. Planning and managing food preparation in restaurant kitchens.
a. Scheduling
b. Station prep
3. They are the assistant to the head chef and perform duties such as:
a. Training new staff
b. Recording inventory
4. Sous chefs also assist in managing kitchen operations.
a. Ensuring food quality and standards
b. Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
5. They may lead the kitchen staff during the head chef’s absence and assist in
menu preparation.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
