Position Summary:

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations and ensure culinary excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a unique, ever-changing menu and grow as a leader in a creative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the execution of daily menu items and special dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.

Supervise kitchen staff and maintain high standards for food quality and presentation.

Lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a team-oriented environment.

Assist in managing kitchen scheduling and daily workflow to ensure efficiency.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a comparable kitchen leadership position.

Strong culinary skills with a passion for seasonal, artistic cuisine.

Excellent leadership and organizational abilities.

Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused kitchen.

Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
